A Brief Introduction to Global Perspective Essay Topics

A Brief Introduction to Global Perspective Essay TopicsThe global perspective essay topics help students see the world in a different light. These are essays that demand an in-depth knowledge of several subjects so that the student can draw on the things he/she knows to form a good argument.Global perspective essay topics usually come from the six topics that form a perspective and from the writing skills that are used to provide an argument. The essay usually uses this perspective to compare and contrast with the other viewpoints. Some examples of perspectives that are covered in Global Perspectives are: present, present-day, past, future, contemporary and historical.Present and contemporary perspectives are usually written in several different styles such as descriptive or impartial. The examples of each style are included to make it easy for the student to understand what the essay is about. This allows the student to read a general overview of the topic without having to worry ab out all the specific details. Many students do not read objectively in these types of essays. However, doing so will add to the credibility of the essay. In order to demonstrate to the reader that they are making a reasoned decision based on information that is factually accurate, the writer must present evidence in the form of facts. One way to do this is to utilize the objective method. The objective method uses quantitative data to prove the point and disprove the opposing view. For example, if the writer argues that the United States does not have a high standard of living, the writer should cite figures to show how much money they should make. When the author presents figures that do not make sense or are simply misrepresented, the reader should be able to identify the problem. In addition, a student should cite any previous information they might have to support their argument.Essays that focus on history will always cite the facts to support the argument. The writer should use objective language such as 'The United States had a high standard of living prior to World War II' to support his argument that the United States should become a socialist nation. When a writer chooses to talk about current events, the writer should address the facts to back up their points.Past and future perspectives will cover information that has already occurred, but the present-day perspective addresses the current situation. Because this type of essay addresses current events, the writer will have to present various viewpoints that affect current events. The audience should know that the writer has facts to back up their points. All of the essay topics above have factual information that supports the information. It is important for students to include these to get them started on the right track. As they move through the course, they should refer to the articles they read and learn what information is needed to complete their final essay.
